I would like those opinions on these seats. Which ones any of you have and feel the construction and tether straps are secure and safe

I have purchased the Animal Matters Companion seat
I have purchased the Snoozer Lookout 1 seat

I am not impressed with tether strap on Animal Matter's seat. It is a strap that threads through to the back and clips around shoulder strap of seat belt.. seems as if in an accident that clip could fail and then my puppy would not be secured and tethered in .

On the snoozer I feel it is a little more secure as the tether strap has a loop that you thread the lap belt of the seat belt through.. at least it is then secured directly to the seat belt…

THEN I FOUND THIS ARTICLE that was written in January 2014 AND CALLED THE COMPANY (SOLVIT) that makes the third seat I just ordered:

I just got off the phone with Solvit's customer service. I am very excited to get .. I am very impressed with the construction that it is made of: What I love most is the the way the D ring (that you hook your harness to )is secured to the plastic .

This unique booster utilizes Safe-T-Core™ technology, a system of molded panels that fasten together permanently, creating a lightweight, yet super-strong structure, tested to 175 lbs. This rigid internal structure integrates with the vehicle seat belt to provide added security for pets.

Pass the metal D-ring, which is fastened to the inside back panel of the plastic frame, through the small slit sewn into the lower edge of the back panel of the fabric liner. Attach the safety leash to the D-ring.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW YOUR OPINONS AND EXPERIENCES.
