I have a doggy seat in my front seat but as Kristin meantioned my airbag's are designed not to deploy unless there's a certain amount of weight in the seat and the switch is disabled.
To be honest, I wish I had not done this from the beginning and although Yazimin's buckled, I worry she'll be injured if my windshield were to shatter. I need to retrain Yazmin that riding in the back seat is okay!
