Agreed. The store-bought frozen ones work just fine. I would thaw them just a *little* (but not completely) under running water before giving them, because straight out of the freezer they might be a little too cold and cause frostbite (kind of like sticking your tongue on sub-zero metal playground equipment). My Bella is absolutely mad for frozen peas, and if I didn't thaw them a little first, I'm sure she'd get a Yorkie brain-freeze, because she gulps them down a handful at a time.
