Dude and Bogey were both chipped at the local PAWS shelter because I forgot to ask about it during their neuter. The vet said he could do it in his office but they were having a Fundraiser at PAWS and decided to support them. Neither of them flinched during the chipping. It really was NBD. The injection needle is rather large but just don't look when they are doing it. The girl doing the chipping just pinched the scruff of the neck and it was over in 2 seconds.
