I am not really sure how to take this but, we had a showing and the family said they did not like the smell of the vanilla odor. They said they had to rush through because of the smell.
The smell they are referring to was a candle that we had lit earlier. My realtor even said she did not think the smell was strong at all. My thoughts are....if you don't like the house just say you don't like the house and not blame it on a candle. And I say this because we really need feedback to correct major issues. However we will now just not burn candles if we know we are having a showing. If you all like a house would the smell of a candle turn you off that much, knowing that it is temporary and will eventually go away?
