At this young age, I would be very hesitant to change his dog food from what he's been on. It can really mess up a young tummy to make a change this early w/out the close observation and approval of your vet. In time, you can change him by gradually adding in small portions of the new food to the old but at 8 weeks, I would be scared to change his food so young. I would check with the vet but likely you can find ways to make his old food more palatable and more enticing if you just bake it or soften/microwave it and so forth.
