I was concerned for Crystal's little knees and joints as she propels herself around like a high energy particle at times. Consequently we put rugs in the take off and particularly landing points to cushion the impacts. She has learned to control the lack of traction with polished precision, swaggering the bends in spectacular 'four legged drifts'. The syncopation of 'chip chop chip chop chip' of her little feet scurry around is now a featured part of our lives.
