Every dog is different, some can handle baths every 2-3 days or once a week,and some can't. Just depends. I think to be on the safe side vets tell you 1-2 times a month, but you just have to try it and see if any irritation occurs, if it does, decrease the bathing times or find a more gentle shampoo.
