The inflatable kong cone is working really well. She hasn't tried to mess with the incision so she's only wearing it when I can't watch her.
I think she kinda likes it, she was taking a nap earlier without it and she put one of her toys under her chin. She also doesn't run or fuss when I put it on her.

I don't have a headboard.
I think she'll be ok, she has the snoozer scalloped steps and she always uses them. She's not the slightest big groggy or out of it, even with the pain pills.
I had her go up and down the steps a few times with the cone on, she didn't have a problem.

I think she's more upset about being left at the vet's than the surgery.
She's mostly back to normal, she just doesn't want me out of her sight.
