Thats why I dont like topica's. I know a bunch of people that used to use them but switched to pills because the topical's leak all over their dogs and then they can lick it or rub it off. I chose to go with sentinal which is a pill form flea and tick and heartworm prevention.

As far as it being on one side more than the other, its fine, the skin absorbs the oil into the body either way.
