We had something a few years back not too far from me where the people purchased the Pit Bull when their young girl was just two, never a problem until she was 12 and the dog killed her. One never knows when this tendency will show itself from breeding way back.

Just look at the list they could choose from, why Pitt Bull?

That actually wasn't my point, personally. There are plenty of amazing, really good Pit Bulls out there in shelters to pick from WITHOUT bite records, was my point. This isn't about BREED at all to me. This is about a dog who MAULED a child with intent to kill. I don't care if it was a Golden Retriever, it needs to be PTS.
