Thank you all for your suggestions and comments! I decided not to lock his crate at night, he's a really good puppy and I don't see the benefit in locking the crate. He comes out to potty, eat and drink. I did however limit his water and that seemed to take care of the soaked potty pads, a problem I had yesterday morning. Now I have to figure out this whole potty training. When he's in his play yard he knows to potty on his pads, however when I let him roam the house he always find a spot on the carpet to pee on, no a lot of pee just a drop. Any idea why he's doing that and how I can teach him not to? |
