Changing usernames screws up the database and makes threads confusing which is why we do not allow it. In a few cases, members have wanted new member names. We have allowed that but only if they abandon their current user account. If a member wishes to create a new account, they must notify us first. If a member uses two or more accounts simultaneously, they may be suspended or banned. We do not allow any banned members to have another YorkieTalk account.
All suspensions or disciplinary action would be carried over to the new account. Any Donating Status membership, number of posts, private messages, and photo gallery pictures would not be carried over to the new account and the member may never use the old account again. The signature on the old account will be deleted as well. |
