I was in my 30's when I got my first (and last!) tatoo also. I got it on my stomach and designed it myself. A couple of years later my husband took a picture of it to a tatoo artist who put a match to it on my husband's arm. ANYWAY....it hurt SOOOO BAD!!!! The guy told me mine hurt tremendously because all of the nerves to your body go to your belly button. I had pain all over! I do love it but will never get another. I wanted to get a ring tatoo also (not a wedding band though), but now will NEVER get another one because my first experience was so bad. |
