Any blood draws should be done before any vaccine is given. It's okay to give a vaccine the same day, ie: the same office visit, unless the dog is sick, then no vaccines until he's all better. I usually wait a month after an illness to make sure they're okay and not going to have a relapse. A fever will render a vaccine inactive because the immune system in a sick dog is on high alert.
