These are latex free and don't cling to the tiny hairs. They are still a good price and one bag lasts me at least a year and that is with replacing bands more than once a day sometimes.

Using the specially made band scissors to cut the bands out at night helps keep the hair intact as well.
I think these are the exact same bands, just smaller. I think all bands will break hair, no matter what. I use the band cutting scissors and try to do as little damage as possible. These bands are the same ones I got from my orthodontist when I had braces too.
