I would still try to find out for sure and treat it, rather than risk it getting worse and going into pneumonia in ICU fighting for her life, as has happened to other members' dogs here. Don't let her suffer any longer than necessary, when meds could get her feeling better quicker.

The online reports of it clearing up on it's own may be in much larger dogs, so always stay on the cautious side with little ones as they can get worse really fast.
