Wow, to scary, good thing pup is well trained. We have coyotes where I live, in fact 2 years ago I hit one with my car at 4AM while on my way to work, due to a TAILGATER I couldn't slam on breaks. I have always watched my babies when they were out side, they were NEVER left unattended, mostly because my last girl just put down this past Oct. was a MIGHTY HUNTER, she lived to hunt, would rather hunt then come in to eat. My new lil city boy is catching "the hunting fever", an adventure he never experienced as a city boy. He will be watched by me like a HAWK. He wants to go after the deer & rabbit, this Spring / Summer will be spent in TRAINING not to chase. Your daughter was lucky chasing a PACK. Poor Baxter must have been bewildered as to my mom snatched him up so fast. Thank god things turned out well.
