We take a walk almost every day of the year & Milo gets along with other neighbors' dogs--labs, yorkies, boston terriers, rat terriers, golden retrievers, etc----but not with this one particular Basset Hound. Somehow he can spot him a block away & when he does, he goes ballistic & stays that way until we are far away from him. I have tried all my usual disciplinary tactics but he won't stop that behavior. My husband said perhaps it is the dog's smell???

perhaps your dh is right. he may sense or smell something he just doesnt like.
