The BH has never even barked or growled at Milo, so I too thought maybe that would work so I tried it, but the closer I got the wilder he was. As someone else said about their dog---like Cujo. It really is terrible. I always have to pick him up and hold him where he can't even see the other dog but he still remains adamant. We walk 2.5 - 3 miles a day in the neighborhood & many times it happens halfway through the walk.
