My question to other yorkie owners is that her back legs have been very red some time now. The vet said it was due to inflammation and hoped the beginning double-dose of the apoquel would allieviate it somehow. Does anyone else experience this with their dogs and have any suggestions?
Leg/paw licking/chewing is very tough to control - and it's almost pointless bc the dog almost "needs" to do it to obtain some relief. I can tell you that Wylie used to chew/lick a lot more but since it calmed down - the inflammation has calmed down and his fur came back too.

I really hope the Apoquel works for you - allergies are so terribly frustrating . I feel for what you're both going through.
