I use revolution and you only apply it once a month. it has the heart worm/flea and tick meds all in one. I have never had an issue and my babies are tested for lyme and hw each year. frontline plus and Advantix II were no longer working for us. I order from petshed.com which is the cheapest I have ever found the revolution.
