Youll be happy with it.. My father in law when he was alive always made the corned beef and it was always good but he made it in a pressure cooker. When he passed I started making it only I dont like using pressure cooker I had one catch on fire once so Im frightened of them anyway I would bake them and no matter what i did they would turn out dry then one yr my brother in law said make it in the crockpot 8 hrs on low so i did and it turned out and i was able to carry on the family tradition so i was happy
