Another Potty Advice Needed! I had blocked off the dining room area b/c Zoey would go in to potty from time to time. She's been good with the pads in room across that where 2 pads are located. It's been 3 years now and I took away the gate that's blocking the dining room.
Today, I come home and go to check to see if she peed there. Since it's a oriental rug, it's hard to tell. So I call her over and asked her. "Did you pee here?" Her reply... yes.. yes she did. She gave me that look. I'm sure many of you know what I'm talkinga about. The "I know I'm not supposed to but I did anyway. Still, I'm really cute and you love me so forgive me" look. Combined with rolling over to show her tummy.
Other than blocking the room again, can you guys throw out some suggestions I can try? My mom lets both her and Magnus out often throughout the day but Zoey seems to prefer to potty inside.
How about I spray some vinager/water mix on the rug? Make it less appealing to mark? |
