[Charlies Mum]

Hello Everyone!

My name is Charlie and my Mum adopted me from a shelter 4 years ago. They estimated that I am 7 years old.

Ever since my Mum adopted me I have had horrible skin allergies. I swear I spend most of my life in a tub of water with one shampoo after another. I am now on Butler Schein Antiseborrheic Shampoo at $30 a bottle! The vet also decided to put me on Science Diet ZD for $33 a bag! I have been on this since Christmas of 2013. Mum has to use a hammer and towel to break up the kibble because it is to big for me. The vet gave me prednisone pills and I felt so much better and stopped itching but this is not good for my liver. (short term solution) Mum only lets me outside just long enough for me to do my business. I am on Trifexis for fleas as well. I seem to be only a little better. I don't smell as bad but I am still scratching until raw and all my hair on my sides is just about gone. I know my Mum is trying really hard to find the solution to the problem so I told her to ask questions here and maybe get some good advice. She is really sad and I feel bad that I can't get better.
