Oh I'm glad he's doing better!
I started mine out on pads before he had his shots and because it was cold, but he didn't pick it up very well. And he liked to shred them. When I began bringing him outside he did much better! Seems like he still isn't able to (or choses not to) hold it for very long. He's quite a fickle little character. Kinda wish now I'd have just stuck it out with the pads and maybe had better luck.
Good luck with the biting! Luckily that's a habit we haven't had to deal with much. We keep lots of things on the floor for him to chew on though, bones, toys, kongs with treats...
