Holy oh my goodness! We got two of the dogs I grew up with from Amish farms and we learned the first thing you do is bathe them when you get home because they always have fleas and ticks. Well the girl we got who is now 13 had ticks in her ears and we thought we got the all around four in one ear and five in the other. Well we took her to the vet the next day and deep down in the ear where we could not see they found five more in each ear it was crazy. After that day though she has yet to even get bit by another tick.
