Honestly, I'm not sure but I would guess not although I still would like to protect against ticks during certain months. I've only ever found a couple ticks on Toki and I believe it was after going to the dog park (relatively heavily wooded area) and we seldom go there. We live in an apartment and most of our walks are on sidewalks in the neighborhood and I don't have a yard that the pups can run around in so I would imagine the risk for encountering ticks is lower for us. Maybe? I was checking online and it seems the price for Nexgard is significantly higher than just splitting doses of the K9 Advantix II so we'll be sticking with that.
