I have had collars on all my dogs with name tag address & phone #. My past 3, 2 were not dashes, but one can never swear to this. My 3rd was the DASHER, collar, name tag a must. My new adopted fellow also has one and came to me micro chipped. I am still getting to know him, have him 3 months, I know his inside (house) ways, not his outside ways, with all this snow he has not spent much time in the yard, when weather gets warmer I will learn and watch him like a hawk, name tags, micro chipped, with these lil cuties if found I doubt they would be returned, only ppl like us on YT that adore our lil furbutts, that know the pain of loosing a loved dog would go to the extreme to return to owner, Where I live so many dogs dash out of their house, for some reason they wind up by me, I get a leash and tie dog to post, if they have a tag I call owner, no ID I walk through my community knocking on doors, ask, do you know who owns this dog, I do find the owner. Collars are attractive but serve an important purpose. Collar with ID A MUST
