A-ha,..I'll gladly help you as I found out from trial & error. The best & easiest way to go is to treat it from the inside out.
I give both my dogs a small pill Trifexis after a meal that's good for 1 month. It is not cheap, however the good news is that you can find them online without a prescription & about 40% less expensive.
So starting about in May when summer arrives I give them 1 tablet once a month from May-Sept and wha-la...no more scratching and licking their butts. I've never looked back on those messy topical treatments ever again thank god. |
