I thought I was the only one who went through this!! I am now 3 months in and much better. I took Bailey to puppy training and discovered that he is smart!! I felt like the one being trained! Anyhow, I know how you feel about them not coming when called, the trainer told us to use a 20' leash...it's a lot easier to get a hold something that long as opposed to a small very fast yorkie!! It's worked great and now I can have peace of mind letting him outside to run 'freely' which he loves to do.
