Yep that's how they test it. I would talk to an orthopedic surgeon they are the ones who should do the surgery. I never even knew about surgery until Callie had to go to the orthopedic surgeon and had to have her ACL fixed and they wanted to fix the LP at the same time. I heard that LP puts more stress on the ACL and other things so had I know I would have tried to get them fixed sooner. I personally would not do two at the same time. One caused so much pain for Callie even on pain meds that I would not want that times two. It also allows them to be able to limp and not force them to start walking on it to soon. Callie did have a problem with then pin they put in and it had to be removed but other then that she did really good we went to the physical therapy every week for a while after her incision healed and she would walk on the water thread mill. We are looking at having to go back to the orthopedic surgeon soon to have her other knee looked at.
