A microchip is a little chip that the vet injects into the shoulder area by the dog.
By law we have to have dog's microchipped incase a pet gets lost, when found they can be identified by the vet and reunited with its owner. Also if someone's pet was stolen and the original owner has reported it to the Data base, they will report the number and discription of the dog to all the vets.
Dog's used to get a tattoo, thats now replaced by the microchip.
Puppy kisses and hugs back to you
