Dealing with a broker or greeder of so called "teacup" breeders is to deal with those who deliberately breed for tiny dogs to jack up the price and care little about the health of the breeding male and female or the health of their parents, grandparents or the current litter of puppies and deliberately mislead prospective buyers with unfounded claims of health and "eternal puppy looks" in the dogs. They often deliberately breed very undersized females despite warnings from respected veterinarians and other toy-dog breeders and risk the females' lives just to produce the tiny puppies. They rarely check the credentials of the worthiness of prospective buyers of one of their puppies, not caring about their future lives - just wanting a payday. Buy for the health and temperament of the dog, not size or looks only, with long lines of healthy dogs only in the pedigree and from a respected, reputable breeder well-known in the fancy, who only breeds to improve the Yorkie breed.
