Most of the time we dont want to show how we truely feel after we bring the new babies home, because we are "suppose to be on cloud 9" it changes life and it sure can be overwhelming!! We want to do everything so perfect and make no mistakes, but i guess we have to make mistakes to learn. |
What I do to help compensate for that feeling is ask a lot of questions, start reading and begin training.
You be the 1st out the door.
You be the one to feed them
You make them sit before they eat.
You be the one to walk them outside to go potty.
You be the one to teach them their name.
You make them sit in front of you to be petted.
On and on and on and on!
I have bought probably 4-5 books since we got Missy and I still am asking questions! lol
