I understand how you feel. From a Yorkie Mommy that took every saftey step possible not using a wireless fence. I even installed a safty cover on my pool that can withsrand 1200lbs. I had a wireless fence but did not install it.
I just got the phone call today to pick up Ricki's ashes at the vet today. Because when I had the flu one of my 4 kids let him out to go pee and I feel asleep on the sofa and when I woke up at 2am and realized he wasn't sleeping on my head. I was up walking the streets in the freezing cold only to find out the next day that my baby probaby could hear me calling his name while he took his last breaths in my neighbors pool 2 doors down.
I cry every day. My twins daughters still call his name everytime we go out front. All I think is if I installed that dam fence he'd still be here with me. He was 9years old. My kids are 13, 11, and 2.5 twins. He was family.
I looked online to double check and the weight limit is 5lbs and must be over 6 months. They have some like mine that can be set to beep only.
