I agree, sounds like a reaction to the Hartz. Many people have reported similar problems with it.

My Teddy has reactions to flea bites. All it takes is one flea to cause a whole lot of problems.

I would go ahead and see the vet. Our vet gave us a topical spray that helped Teddy. It isn't an over-the-counter med.
