He is probably allergic or sensitive to the flea product you used on him! We have a dog that is very allergic to any and all flea medication! She had such a severe reaction once that our vet told us to never use any flea meds on her. She broke out in a horrible rash, bright red skin and intense itching. We bathed her right away and rushed her to the vet. They had to give her shots at the office and then an oral medication until her skin cleared. Thankfully we haven't had fleas in our area for a long time! |
