I don't know why but this makes me angry. It's like everything is some weird competition. We purposely got Barney having been told he would be large....8 to 9 pounds. It turns out, he's more giraffish. He's 12 inches tall and 5.5 pounds. I took him with me to get my son's tux for prom and the owner said, "Oh, he's a yorkie. But he's not a teacup is he?" At this time he weighed less than 4 pounds. I said, no he's definitely a dog, not a cup. She then proceeded to tell me that her friend had one of the very small "teacup" yorkies that are so rare. It was like she felt sorry for me for having a larger yorkie.
