My Daisy used to do this when she was a puppy. She hated being put in her crate and we found out she was pooping in her crate as soon as we walked out the door and rolling around in it all day. A couple of things we did that seemed to help were 1. Letting her walk into her crate by herself which made her much calmer, 2. Giving her a little rubber toy that had little treats inside that kept her busy trying to get the treats out, and 3. Coming home at lunch time and letting her outside. I hope someone else can give you more ideas and I hope something works for you.
