I used to have them groomed about once every 4-6 weeks. But I've been frustrated because the last two times they went to the groomer she did not follow my instructions. The last time was about a week before Christmas and I actually cried when I saw them. I specifically asked her to leave their faces alone and she shaved both of their noses. I have been doing a lot of the grooming at home. But I'm a big chicken when it comes to their nails. I will probably take them to all pet---30 miles away
to have their nails done only. My understanding is to only do glands when you notice they need it (scooting and an odor). Fortunately, I've not noticed this with Barney and Anna. If I do, I will take them to the vet.
