As to your comment about the puppy mill personality, it is not so prevalent in the puppies. You see it in the poor dams and sires who live to make money for these breeders. They are damaged for life....they get better in time but they are never like pups who are obtained as puppies and loved. |
Have to agree with LJ's reasons for worrying about the kind of breeder she is and whether or not she does any health testing of her breeding pair for genetically inherited conditions before she breeds them. But as a "teacup" and "exotic colors" breeder, it often indicates they breed for money over betterment of the breed.
