 Crust on my puppies bum? (graphic pictures)

I am taking her to the vet asap, soonest appointment possible even if this isn't serious.
But I'm wondering what this even is that she has on her bum?? I've tried cleaning it but it won't come off and I don't want to clean it too hard or too much. It looks very swollen as well. |
