Whenever you have to travel, even if it's a quick trip (like a funeral) and your spouse is home, you spend more money on tickets for your dogs than yourself, and you now check a bag (full of things for them) where in the past you only brought a carry-on so you didn't have to spend the extra money.

Or, you just don't go.......
