I know it won't do any good but tell her beating herself up won't do anything but make her more stressed and sick than she is now and won't change anything but hopefully some of the readers of this thread with unchipped dogs or dogs w/out ID tags will read about chipping and tags and maybe think about it. If this thread can prevent one little dog from staying lost even a day less it's worth mentioning microchipping and ID tags and even if it's just another one or two percent chance of finding their way home, it might be worth it to some. It sure is to me. But neither is a guarantee and if he were stolen, no help at all. We're praying and pulling for her that her baby is safe somewhere while his present guardian is looking for his owner. Many, many lost Yorkies do find their way home after weeks of being lost!
