Oh that option would be lovely! It is one of the things my breeder suggested I look into, but unfortunately, as I've come to learn, this isn't an option with the ONLY vet in my area that can also handle whelping emergencies. This vet is 25 minutes from my house. All others limit what their practice does and the few clinics/hospitals that do any type of pregnancy management/services are over an hour away.
That would be very nice to have, though. It's a shame more vets in my area aren't offering additional services like that.
Thanks for the suggestion. 30 years of breeding is amazing. I want to learn so that I can do this right and give my dogs their best chance to live long, healthy, happy lives. You mentioned you worked, if I may ask, did you continue to work or did you eventually stop?
