It depends why you are going to get them, Probiotics, are just good bacteria that live in the intestine and if you take antibiotics, it can kill the good as well as the bad bacteria, so replacing the good bacteria is a good idea. However, once they are replaced, there is no reason to continue replacing them, unless your dog has some type of health issue. I don't know which brands are the best, although I do know you have to be careful, and some say,most don't contain enough variety to actually do much good, so much hype out there. I would ask the doctor/vet about it. |
