I like the guidelines as they are as I would worry about what topics would be added next, maybe when new members came here saying they were breeding their tiny maybe no one would say anything about that.......... not wanting to hurt their feelings, etc........... (maybe extreme but where would it end?)

well your statement here.. "I would worry if we stopped giving members the correct information and letting them know that there is no such thing as a teacup.

First of all No one wants to join a forum to be Educated~ This is Yorkie Talk!
Talk yorkie.. Unless someone personaly posts a thread and ASKS the question Is there such a BREED (teacup?) then you can stop worring and then give the advice or correct information, I can not recall a person here yet
that has introduced themself and their new baby and ask Im I correct?
We all (well maybe not) come here to talk about our yorkies, ask for suggestions, our help and our prayers, we all learn within the right "atmosphere" we are a family we assist one another befriend, share sad, happy, and funny times. and Im not saying it's Ok, Im saying this term is getting way to much publicity! I have been here a year and I can honesty say, and I think a lot of other members would agree NO One has ever said what you suggested..
your quote..

Well they haven't! they come here for the first time proud parents of a small yorkie, they believe this is the term used only to describe the size of their baby! they have a new baby a Teacup they have been told and want to share and join a forum about yorkies. But what they get is someone that does not care about ones feelings only that "TEACUP" will not be USED around here! NO NO there is no such thing yada yada and Oh by the way welcome to Yorkie Talk! and jump on that bandwagon and shove teacup knowledge down their throat!
I think newbies will learn about teacups like a lot of us have on YT by reading posts on that topic should someone ask for it!

It should End here... peace to your heart
