When pups are in renal failure they often do not have appetites. You might ask your vet if perhaps Mirtazapine will help. One of my renal failure pups a few years back was put on it and he wanted to eat everything but the kitchen sink! It was amazing because prior to that he would not eat anything. Mirtazapine helps with the nausea and vomiting and increases the appetite.

You also could do a consult with a vet nutritionist and do some home cooking. That is something else I did with him.

I am sorry you are dealing with this....renal failure is difficult. But sometimes they do well for a period of time...really depends on where they are and also how they respond to treatment.
