I am a proud parent of purebred Yorkies since the 80's. I have 6 now. But I have had many that have passed since then.
I saw your post and my heart sank, because I know how it feels and I have been there with one of my girls. They are not our pets, they are our children. They are the breed I love, the only breed I have ever had since a child, and my lifelong devotion started early.
What has the vet said to you?
The same happened to me with one of my girls but she was much older. That means nothing, however. It matters how far along they are, what other medical conditions they have, and other factors too.
